Construction continues into the finish phase. Beaded wood ceilings (pictured) have been added to the exterior entry and are in progress in the vaulted great room adding a distinct ‘Old Florida’ feel.

Construction of the first phase is nearing an end. We will be awaiting permits form Tallahassee in the next month or so that will allow construction of the pool and remainder of site related activies.

This Manasota Key bayside residence was originally built with inadequate space to play.
Phil Eason’s design includes the addition of an old Florida open beam lanai to look down on a new pool as well as creating proper space on the interior to entertain and recreate.
Current construction has us nearing the end of framing activities on the lanai, new ktichen area, interior stairway, and master bath addition.
This challenging project transforms a quaint, but dated 1950’s era bungalow into a current, funtional beach cottage. Phil Eason’s overall design centered around the existing wood character of the original home. Local decorator, Jett Thompson, has worked with Ms. Huneke on the many details that brings the project together.
Current work shows cabinetry and trim installation underway on the inside as the outside awaits final finishes.
