This 1950’s era gulf front home has an architecture true to it’s era.  The terrazzo flooring, floor to ceiling glass throughout, campus style layout fit perfectly within the heavily wooded property, yet time and tastes demand a complete makeover.

A recent relaxing of certain FEMA rules by Sarasota County allows us to redo as much of the structure as necessary without cost restrictions, yet we must stay with the original footprint to avoid state mandated elevation requirements.

The trick is to salvage the original feel of the structure, update the amenities to the current year, and stay within agency mandates.  This job is the perfect example of all.

Even when all you need is an updated look, Bayfront Builders can put together the team to do it right.  No rebuilding of interior space here.  But the new floors, trim, fixtures, and fireplace will bring this 1980’s home back to life.

Phase I of the project is now complete with the transformation of the interior into an updated ‘Old Florida’ feel.  New cabinets and shellstone floors were part of the additions to the interior and exterior wood highlights that remained.

Phase II state permitting has been obtained allowing the pool construction and exterior sitework that will bring the project together.

This 1970’s era home served it purpose proudly for the past thirty five years, but was in desperate need of some TLC.  A new cupola and updated entry and colors highlight the exterior.

The interior has the lanai being enclosed to a dining/ sun room along with revamped kitchen and baths.  New floors and ground floor amenities complete the face lift.

This Manasota Key bayside residence was originally built with inadequate space to play.

Phil Eason’s design includes the addition of an old Florida open beam lanai to look down on a new pool as well as creating proper space on the interior to entertain and recreate.

Current construction has us nearing the end of framing activities on the lanai, new ktichen area, interior stairway, and master bath addition.
